Confidentiality & Ethics

As your counsellor, the provision of a private, fully confidential and ethical practice whether in-person or online, is paramount in my service to you.

I confirm that I am qualified and registered as a counsellor and EFT (tapping) practitioner where I meet the required ongoing personal development (OPD) and training, clinical supervision and association membership requirements per annum. Alongside this I willingly follow and am bound by the code of ethics as set by each professional body.

I guarantee that your confidentiality and privacy is of the utmost importance to me and can ensure you that all discussions and records are private and kept secured. I am ethically bound to uphold a Duty of Care at all times and therefore obliged only to breach confidentiality to seek advice if disclosure of self harm, harm to others, child abuse/neglect and disclosure of a criminal offence is made to me.

I offer an online service via Skype or FaceTime where all attempts are made at providing a confidential service within these platforms. Because your privacy is essential to me, I am unable to offer counselling via email or private message. If you message me, please be aware that I reserve the right not to reply may not be able to reply and will instead resume the discussion at your next appointment.
